Fashion Has Layers (New York – September 28th, 2009)
So, what do you think? Too many layers here or just right? My first thought was too many but then I took a closer look and things are really working here. It seems sort of disconnected at first and yet it really grows on you. I love the boots, skirt and shirt with their casual look and soft colors and then that shawl just brings it all out perfectly. I never would have thought that those colors go together but somehow they really do. Well, just goes to show what I know. Either way, great look here. Way to define your own style without following the crowd!

Rough and Tough! (Los Angeles – August 10th, 2009)
There’s just something about this look which screams out “don’t mess with me!” I’m not sure if it’s the vest, the ripped jeans or the bracelet but it’s something. Not that this is a bad thing, there’s nothing wrong with a woman who looks like she can kick my ass all over the place. The fact that she also looks quite good in this outfit makes it that much better. It’s like a combination of biker chic and high fashion somehow. Either way, great look! (please don’t hit me!) Note, strong women look GOOD!
This look comes to us from Los Angeles from the same store as this one last week. Not sure which store this is but they have good looking shoppers!
Pictures provided by Brad Garner Signature Digital Images.
The items came from:
- Fahmina $20
- BB Dakota $65
- Joe Jeans $300 (ouch! Those are a bit expensive)
All of these items were bought from Native on Franklin (in Hollywood).
Best part, her comment on why she liked the outfit “It’s trendy and everything that LA people want to have.” Can’t argue with that (and not just because she might track me down!)
